As a university, the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences lives the model of direct practical relevance.

In addition to teaching and research, one of our core tasks is to contribute to the development of our society as a university. Therefore, we also see it as our task to promote and live knowledge transfer into society and with society at all levels.

In the lecture series “#facetoface: Personalities on Campus”, we therefore invite people to the university who, through their personal biography, their life experience and their expertise, shed light on current topics and present them to an interested public for discussion. The aim is to present interested people with new perspectives, new ways of looking at things and new ways of thinking, thus enabling the exchange of knowledge as well as personal reflection. In this way, common growth can succeed.

By participating in these lectures we open the doors of our university and hope that every visitor can benefit personally and get in touch with the “#facetoface personalities” and their message.
